Can my database's be backed up automatically?

Yes, please see below for more information:

1 - Log into your control panel (cPanel)
2 – Click on ‘Cron jobs’
3 - Place the following in the first field 0 0 * * * - In the second box place: mysqldump --opt --user=database_user --password=database_pass database_name > /home/username/foldername/backup.sql

4 - Please note you will have to replace the values with your information.

This will backup your database nightly at 12pm.
